Your home information deserves clarity.

Privacy information for Rezlee’s website, waitlist and beta app. Updated September 30, 2026.

Who this covers

Rezlee provides home-management tools for Canadian households. This notice describes the information used by our website and app. Contact the Rezlee privacy contact through our contact page with questions, access or correction requests, or concerns.

Information you provide

  • Account and household information, such as your name, email, sign-in identity, home details, household members and invitations. A phone number may be used when you choose a phone invitation.
  • Bills, receipts, statements, photos, documents, inventory, warranties, reminders, cleaning routines, repair notes and shared-expense records you choose to add.
  • Questions and messages you send to Ask Rezlee, corrections you make, support messages and waitlist registration details.

Connected accounts and device access

If you connect a provider, we receive the account information, statements, usage and connection status made available through that integration. Green Button / EZGB and Deck have different authentication and authorisation flows. A connection may involve a third-party sign-in or credentials and verification challenges. Review the provider’s notices before connecting; do not share those secrets with support.

Camera, photos, files and notifications are used for the features you select and permissions you grant. Address suggestions may send the address text you type to Google Places. Device biometric unlock uses the operating system’s authentication result; Rezlee does not receive your Face ID image or fingerprint template.

Why information is used

We use this information to operate your account, store and retrieve your records, explain bills, support connected-data retrieval, manage tasks and shared expenses, respond to questions and maintain service security. Technical request information and logs can help diagnose errors, protect accounts and limit abuse.

AI processing

When you use an AI feature, relevant questions, documents or household context may be sent to AI service providers for extraction or an answer. The current implementation uses Google and OpenAI models, directly or through Vercel AI Gateway, depending on the feature and deployment. Do not submit information you do not want processed in that way. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed.

Provider retention and use depend on the service and commercial configuration. This notice does not promise that all AI requests have zero retention or are excluded from provider model improvement. Contact us before submitting sensitive information if you need those details for your use.

Household sharing

Accepting a household invitation can give members access to shared information allowed by their role and the feature. A person listed in a shared expense is not automatically a household member. Consider what other people can see before adding information, and review household access when someone leaves.

Service providers and international processing

Rezlee uses service providers to operate the product. Current components include Supabase for account/database/storage services, Vercel for hosting and some AI routing, Resend for email, Expo for mobile delivery/build services, Google for address suggestions and optional sign-in, Apple for optional sign-in, and the AI and connection providers described above where enabled.

Information may be processed outside your province or Canada and be subject to laws in those locations. Not every provider receives every type of information. We share the information needed for the feature or service involved, or where required to meet legal obligations and protect the service.

Cookies and local storage

Sign-in uses session information, and the app stores some settings, secure session material and resumable drafts on your device. Hosting services also process request metadata. Optional marketing or analytics technologies require a separate assessment and appropriate notice before they are added; this page does not imply a marketing tracker is installed.

Contact and waitlist information

The contact form sends your email, optional name, selected topic and message to Rezlee’s support inbox through Resend. We use them to respond and handle the request. Contacting support does not subscribe you to marketing. Avoid sending passwords, verification codes or complete financial documents in the form.

The waitlist uses your email, consent and confirmation records, email-delivery status and any membership reservation. See the waitlist privacy notice for details. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe option. A keyed network-address hash is used for form rate limiting; hosting providers may hold network metadata in operational logs.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Active account information is kept to provide the features you use. You can request access, correction or deletion and withdraw consent for optional processing, subject to applicable requirements and the effects on the service. Disconnecting a provider stops that connection as supported by the provider; it does not necessarily erase already imported records or provider-held copies.

Request account or waitlist deletion through Account deletion. We verify identity first. Shared records, security and consent records, outstanding requests, backups and provider retention can require separate handling. We will explain any information retained and the reason. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup or third-party system.

Security and complaints

Access controls, private storage and account verification help protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share sign-in codes; contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Raise privacy concerns through Contact Rezlee. You can also contact the applicable privacy regulator.

Changes

We update this notice as the product and its data practices change. Material changes should be brought to your attention through the website or app; additional consent will be sought where required.
